Dear Friends of Agriculture,
We hope each of you are doing well as we go through the year. The Executive Committee of the East Texas Farm and Ranch Club and Scholarship Fund, Inc, recently met to initiate plans for programs and activities for 2024, and some relevant and interesting programs were suggested.
The goal of the East Texas Farm and Ranch Club is to promote the advancement of agriculture while providing a forum for education as well as information and idea exchanges. The Club provides a networking atmosphere for area producers and agribusinesses and supports area youth in promoting increased awareness of agriculture. Each year the Farm and Ranch Club awards scholarships to deserving graduating seniors in the area and provides assistance to the East Texas State Fair Junior Livestock Show and other agricultural education programs.
The extent to which the Farm and Ranch Club can achieve its goals is directly related to the participation of local farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses. Please renew, or begin your membership in 2024 by returning the attached form along with your check for $25.00. Interesting, relevant programs and activities have been suggested, but we also need your ideas for relevant programs for 2024. Please add your suggestions for programs and potential speakers on those topics at the bottom of the membership application form. We look forward to working with each of you in promoting agriculture in East Texas.
